Mainstream Techno DJs

The best techno DJs of 2024: The mainstream acts you shouldn't miss

2024 has a lot to offer in terms of techno! The scene is buzzing, but there are a few DJs that everyone is watching. Sure, we're talking about the absolute mainstream stars here—but hey, they also know how to get the crowd going. Here are the top techno DJs you definitely shouldn't miss this year:

1. Charlotte de Witte
The techno queen from Belgium continues to dominate major festivals and pulls out all the stops in her sets. With hard acid beats and a relentless pace, she makes every rave fan's heart beat faster. Sure, she's mega mainstream—but she's also damn good!

2. Amelie Lens
If Charlotte is the queen, then Amelie Lens is the princess of techno. Her sets are hypnotic, full of energy, and perfect for the big stages. She can be found on every major lineup and always creates an unforgettable atmosphere.

3. Reinier Zonneveld
This guy has taken techno live sets to a whole new level. He produces live on stage and bangs out one bass line after another. Sure, everyone knows him, but that's also because he just delivers—especially if you like heavy bass!

4. Adam Beyer
Drumcode boss and one of the OGs in the scene. Adam Beyer mixes melodic elements with hard techno and has a sound that simply works – whether you're at a rave for the first time or have been in the scene for years. This guy simply belongs on every playlist.

5. Dax J
London Underground meets hard techno! Dax J may have moved into the mainstream, but he's retained his underground vibe. His sets are raw and fast—perfect when you need something really heavy. Not for the faint of heart, but definitely an experience!

6. Ben Klock
A Berghain veteran and master of minimal techno, Ben Klock knows how to slowly build tension and then keep you in a hypnotic state. Yes, he's well-known and has his fans, but his style is simply unique.

7. Anfisa Letyago
The newcomer from Naples has quickly made it into the mainstream techno league. Her sets are dynamic, and she brings a fresh energy that's been well-received. She's definitely one of the DJs we'll be seeing more of in the future.

8. I Hate Models
Emotional techno with a touch of industrial, trance, and acid – that's the trademark of I Hate Models. The Frenchman brings a wild mix to the decks, and his sets are a true rollercoaster ride. Sure, he's now also entered the mainstream, but that doesn't make him any less exciting.

Next year is definitely going to be a big one for techno fans, and even though these DJs can be heard at every festival and everywhere, they simply deliver. It's okay to go for mainstream techno as long as the vibe is right, but we prefer something more underground...
